Resolve International launch new partnership
project Challenge Nepal.

Young people attending Duke of Edinburgh's award
scheme in East Lancashire will support
Resolve International through volunteering
activities.

Lancashire Young People’s Service, Burnley Football Club
Community Sports Trust, Duke of Edinburgh schemes are both
participating in the pilot project.

Bronze level participants aged 14-16 will gain practical skills
in campaigning, promotion and managing collections of sports
wear. Resolve International through its Sports Gear Recycling
programme will send the sportswear to Nepal.
The sports wear will be used by local Nepali organizations
working with orphans, street-children and rural schools.
Sport is a great way to encourage young people in Nepal to
become involved in activities which lead to more positive
lifestyles.

Gold level participants aged 18-24 will also be involved in
campaigning and raising funds to support projects in Nepal.
The Gold level participants will also train as programme leaders
and assist Bronze participants in their volunteering activites.
