Latest NewsMany rural familes on low incomes in Nepal need their children to work on the family land or to earn an income some other way. Allowing children to attend school can add a financial burden which the parents just cannot afford. In June 2009 we launched our Scolarship programme in Baglung District with 20 children now attending primary school. Just £1.50 per week will keep a child at school; providing a uniform, books and stationery, midday meals and a uniform.
