Case StudyŚclean water for communities

Nirilpata is a small community hanging on a hillside in Baglung District.

The community was too small to receive aid from larger organisations so they didn’t even have a local water supply.
Resolve International worked with BYC Baglung to install the pipeline, storage tank and seven stand pipes with taps for Nirilpata village.
Water catchment is from a spring high in the hills on the opposite side of the valley.
A pipeline takes the water down the valley and the pressure pushes it up to a storage tank above the village. The water is then fed down to the stand pipes.

The stand pipes include a concreted area where washing can take place for people and clothes.
